Continued Growth for Chrysler and Jeep in 2014

The Chrysler brand has enjoyed a resurgence since the automaker began unveiling its newest iterations of the lineup. Not every model has enjoyed equal praise; both the 200, Cherokee, and Wrangler continue to receive a bit more acclaim than their brethren. Don’t get us wrong – every Chrysler and Jeep model has undergone technical and aesthetic remodeling that cements it as a leading American automaker. We still cannot deny the unmitigated admiration for these particular models.

All-New 2015 Chrysler 200

Chrysler’s economic forecast looks good, and the company released sales numbers for September. It sold 169,890 total units last month. The most startling aspect of the statistic is that Jeep experienced a 19% increase and continues its consecutive sales gain streak into a 54th month. The automaker has topped the sales of the Chrysler portfolio in terms of volume.

2015 Jeep Cherokee

The Jeep Cherokee, specifically, sold 14,639 units.

Yes, the crossover with its adventurous styling underlined by its trademark eye-slit headlamps once again took top sales among all of the Jeep models. It outpaced the Wrangler, which delivered 13,955 units, and the Grand Cherokee, which sold 12,854 units.

The grand total of sales for the Jeep Cherokee has reached 128,133 for 2014.
